I'm really loving your style Rick. It's exactly what I need in my day.
And as to the lesson, totally. I regret not having gone to BUD/S, I regret not showing the world (and myself) my weird, crazy, ass backwards ideas. But I never regret the times when I went for it, even when they failed.
Do the hard thing, that is where the real growth lives. The what ifs will eat you alive if you let them. A few years ago I dared to think “what if I went back to school after all these years”. I was so afraid of failure I told no one I was working on my masters degree. But I didn’t fail, and as I started to share my progress my parents, my kids, and my boss were wildly supportive. I think at the end of the day it’s our own self sabotage that holds us back the most.
Froogle....so good.

Thank you for the kind words, Latham! Really needed those today and I’m glad you liked the piece! Let’s both keep going for it!
