Nothing like a spam letter to give you an essay idea. This was funny. Maybe the writer is from a parallel universe.

Some days I wish I could figure out how to pop into a parallel universe…hopefully the one where I was born into royalty or something

I kind of feel like this is what people who fundraise for political parties do in their spare time. Alter Rick is really running some PAC in Wisconsin and just got a teeny bit bored over the weekend.

It would make sense that all of these different people raising money (political parties, charities, scammers) are all just the same person sending message after message with different hooks in an attempt to make their inbound funnels stronger...it's all just marketing.

One of my coworkers got a spam text one time from our "CEO" and spent nearly an hour leading the person on. It was delightful. I hope AlterRick gets his act together!

I’ve done similar before and I was hoping I got a response from this spammer cause I did send a message with many of the points from the article but alas, nothing. Clearly they didn’t support my goal of writing a more action-intense piece.

If ANY version of Rick could get his act together, I’d appreciate it…

Hilarious Rick. I mean, what the fresh hell are scammers thinking when they send letters to you from you? I feel the need to help them with their strategy. Just to, you know, make it a LITTLE more believable??! Great read.

New online course: Marketing For Scammers. Could be lucrative if it didn't come with the whole taking advantage of people and feeling bad about it thing. Maybe it could just be a way to scam the scammers?
